Want to try a new sport and discover your potential? Thinking about becoming a powerlifter but not sure where to start? Look no further as our taster session is the perfect opportunity for you to involve yourself in the world of powerlifting. Our club differs across all levels from beginner to world class. We aim to provide a comfortable and friendly environment in which you can gain insight into rules and dynamics involved in powerlifting.
The taster session (9th of October 18:30-20:30) and group training (commencing on 17th of October Thursdays 18:30-20:30) will be held at energyze gym which is within walking distance from campus. To train at energyze It costs £6 pay as you go alternatively sign up and pay £15 per month. .
What to bring:
* Workout clothes such as tshirt, shorts or leggings
* Water bottle
* Notepad and pen
What to expect:
* Introduction to Squat, bench and deadlift
* Tips on improving form
* Meet like minded people
* The chance to talk to club coaches
* An explanation into the BUCS qualification process (We are currently ranked top 5 out of all the clubs in the country)
