Why do you want to represent your community?
I have always been active in community life, so being an international student, I have new opportunities to help and support our community. Since 2018, I was organizing and participating in community events such as Christmas Fair, Engineering Festival, Theatre Festival, etc. I would love to be International Representative because I am thrilled by the fact that even though we all come from different cultures, backgrounds and families, we still can build beautiful society and solve all the problems as a whole community.
How would you aim to engage with your community?
Our campus is filled with all kind of worldwide elements. Food, music, mixers, you name it! I want to make even more multicultural things (mostly events) so that anyone can see the beauty of being different. I would love to listen and work with anyone, who is also interested in improving international experience at UoE. Our voice will be heard! I am a Biomedical Science student, so in case you have any suggestion or trouble we can meet at Square 3 (in front of Life Sciences office) or have a chat via email. Doing my second year, I am already familiar with the way our campus functioning and I already have ideas to improve events.
