A Marine Conservation Society / VTeam collab! We're teaming up with Marine Conservation Soc to deliver a big beach clean-up in Southend especially for Student Volunteering Week 2024! 

We have 50 places available on a coach, transporting students from Colchester campus to Southend and back again. Half the places are reserved for Marine Conservation soc members, and half for non-members through VTeam. 

  • If you're a member of Marine Conservation Soc, get in touch with them direclty to book your place.
  • If you're not a member of the society, then you can book a place by registering for this activity :) 
  • If you're a Southend Student, you can meet us in Southend at 11am - meeting point outside The Forum

All equipment provided! All volunteers can claim back up to £5 in lunch expenses! Please remember to dress appropriately for the activity and the weather. This activity will involve walking along a beach, picking and collecting litter for a few hours.
