Join us in the Lecture Theatre Building Room 4 for the first Students with Disabilities mixer of the term and meet your Students with Disabilities Officer for the year!
You’ll have the opportunity to meet other students with disabilities who understand the unique challenges you may face. This can help you form a network of peers who can offer advice, support, and companionship.
Interacting with others who share your experiences can boost your confidence and empower you to advocate for your needs and rights within the university. 🤝
Mixers offer a relaxed environment to make friends and build social connections with other students who understand your perspective and challenges.đź’¬
Come along, play boardgames, make new friends and meet some of the students that belong to the same community as you.
You can connect with others who might be going through similar experiences, whether it’s adjusting to university life, homesickness, or balancing cultural expectations with academic responsibilities.🧑🎓📚
Enjoy free refreshments with coffee, tea and soft drinks and snacks, fun icebreakers designed to help you connect with students from your community, whether you're an international or UK student. 🥤🥨
Can't wait to see you there!
