RTP volunteers teach English to the refugees and asylum seekers in Colchester. You don't need any qualifications and the only language you must be proficient in is English. 

Volunteers at our face to face sessions are teaching assistants to the teachers. You may be supporting a group of students or leading a smaller group who need individual support. At our online sessions, you'll help plan sessions and deliver the content.

RTP makes a massive positive difference to the local community and by taking part, you will be actively helping people, who were forced to leave their homes, make a life for themselves here. 

Monday sessions run from 11:10am - 13:20 including travel time. You must first register with the project, then book a place onto any specific session you'd like to attend with the project's Comms Officer
