VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR THE BIG COMPUTER RETURN

On Wednesday 30th April - Computers, monitors, headsets, laptops, and all manner of IT equipment is finally coming home to Essex. University staff are leaving, and before they go they must surrender the IT equipment they have been coveting in their homes since lockdown. (Remember Covid? Yeeesh!)

WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!

The tasks are simple:  

  • point people in the right direction
  • help staff members carry IT equipment from car to collection point, if necessary

 

WHAT DO I GET? 

  • Students volunteering for 5 hours or more will be able to claim £5 from VTeam towards lunch expenses. 🥪
  • Students volunteering the whole day will get the £5 lunch reimbursement PLUS a free pizza from Pizza U in SU Bar! 🍕

 

WHEN?

🗓️ Wednesday 30th April 

⌚ We need volunteers from 9.00am - 5.00pm  

(If you can't do the full day then you can still take part, just email vteam@essex.ac.uk to let us know what you *can* do.)
