INSTANT (ALMOST!) CYANOTYPE PHOTOGRAPHY: 2pm - 4:30pm; Art Exchange; Come along and join us creating instant (almost!) photographs of plants and flowers foraged in the beautiful Wivenhoe Park.

The Big Screen – Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs: 3pm - 5pm; Big Screen Southend; Join Focal Point Gallery at Elmer Square for their annual Big Screen Summer Cinema! Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs Flint Lockwood invents a machine that showers food from the sky to help his townspeople who can only afford to eat sardines.

FORAGING IN WIVENHOE PARK: 2pm - 4:30pm; Art Exchange; Join Lora Aziz – wildcrafter, artist and author – for a foraging walk around Wivenhoe Park, followed by arts activities back at Art Exchange.

WEEKEND TOUR OF BRUTAL BUT BEAUTIFUL: 2pm - 3pm; Art Exchange; Join curator Jess Twyman for a tour of our 60th anniversary exhibition, which celebrates the University of Essex’s Brutalist concrete architecture.

The Big Screen – Back to the Future: 3pm - 5pm; Big Screen Southend; Join Focal Point Gallery at Elmer Square for their annual Big Screen Summer Cinema! Back to the Future In the 1980s, an experiment by a weird scientist turns out to be faulty. It leads to his teenaged pal going back in time to the 1950s

WALKING WITH WILD WRITER JAMES CANTON: 2pm - 4:30pm; Art Exchange; Come on a walk around Wivenhoe Park, led by wild writer James Canton.

The Big Screen – Wall-E: 3pm - 5pm; Big Screen Southend; Join Focal Point Gallery at Elmer Square for their annual Big Screen Summer Cinema! Wall-E A robot who is responsible for cleaning a waste-covered Earth meets another robot and falls in love with her.

ANIMAL CRACKERS – SCULPTURES IN THE PARK!: 2pm - 4:30pm; Art Exchange; Join artists Clare Iles and Tom Armstrong creating your own sculptures out in Wivenhoe Park.
