What Is a Roundtable Discussion?

Our annual roundtable discussion focuses on discussing topics we and other societies feel are important, in a safe and supportive environment. Everyone is welcome to come along to contribute to the discussion, or just to listen. If you choose to donate (please scroll down for more details on entry) you will receive a self-care goodie bag including hot chocolate, positive messages, stickers and more. Refreshments will be provided at the event.

Societies Involved

This will be a collaborative event, and we are hoping to invite a few other STEM societies at the university. You are welcome to join even if you are not part of these societies, or if you're not studying a STEM subject!

Discussion Topics

We will be discussing:

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing at University
  • we will be sharing more topics soon!

Entry

If you are a WiSTEM member or a member of any of the participating societies above, you are free to come along, but if you would like to receive a self-care goodie bag please purchase a ticket (this counts as a donation) or you can make a donation to a card machine on the day.

If you not a member of any of these participating societies, please get a ticket to enter, which also includes a self-care goodie bag. You can also walk in on the day as we hope to have a card machine.
