Welcome to Community Creative Writing! We believe that writing has the power to demonstrate creativity, bring communities together and improve wellbeing.

Sessions in Term 3 will be on Wednesdays (12:30pm - 2pm) in the Limehouse

These summer sessions are less formal, with no dedicated weekly theme. Just come along, write something new, then share it with the group.

We’re also looking to expand this project and run sessions in the wider community, in the future. If you would like to become a session leader, send an email to vteam@essex.ac.uk. You don’t need creative writing experience – training will be provided!
