How to read your Exam Timetable
Where to find your personal timetable: https://www1.essex.ac.uk/examtimes/. These should be available from the 14th March onwards.
If you see a problem such as an exam clash; an exam that is not showing; or an exam that you are not expecting to sit, report it immediately on the button that appears below your personal exam timetable, or email exams@essex.ac.uk.
Key information your timetable will show you:
When: This will show the date of your exam (remember in the UK we do day/month/ year.) It will also tell you the time it starts and ends, and the duration of the exam. This will be shown in 24 hour clock.
Where: This will give you the location of the exam. If you don’t know campus well please use Find your Way Essex - https://findyourway.essex.ac.uk/ and ensure you arrive in good time – the campus is bigger than you think, and can be hard to navigate.
Exam code & Title: This will tell you which exam is taking place
Make sure you know and understand what type of exam it will be

Remote exam practice
If you're not familiar with using FASER or Moodle, there are some practice areas for you to try out ahead of your exams:
FASER practice area
Moodle practice area
If you are unable to log in to FASER or Moodle, please contact the IT Helpdesk so that this can be resolved in time for your exams.
If you need additional support or equipment for the exams please raise this with your department and SWIS well before the exam to allow this to be put in place. Do not assume it will be in place, make sure you ask for it.
