We are now back for our second half of the BUCS Season.  Essex is in a strong position (our best position to date!) of 26^th in the UK with 1420 BUCS Points.  Since the Christmas break our Essex Blades teams have been busy preparing and competing in a variety of rearranged matches, steadily climbing their individual league tables.  More information on individual sports league tables can be found at BUCS Playwaze website. 

Over the last few weeks we have seen the following stats:

• 46 matches (27 home/19 away)
• 22 wins, 2 draws and 22 losses
• 457 Essex students
• 59% home win rate, 22% away win rate

Based on current BUCS Points accumulated, we have 9 sports that are currently ranked inside the UK Top 25.  These are as follows (Sport, ranking and current BUCS Points).

• Baseball and Softball 14^th in UK (27 BUCS Points)
• Basketball 3^rd in UK (175 BUCS Points)
• Dodgeball 7^th in UK (99 BUCS Points)
• Football 21^st in UK (128 BUCS Points)
• Golf 22^nd in UK (50 BUCS Points)
• Table Tennis 11^th in UK (112 BUCS Points)
• Tennis 25^th in UK (115 BUCS Points)
• Ultimate 25^th in UK (47 BUCS Points)
• Volleyball 3^rd in UK (168 BUCS Points)
