MEET THE EXEC TEAM

I’m Abbie, the President of the Taylor Swift Society for this year. I joined the society last year when it was created and it was how I met my best friends/fellow exec members Morgan (Vice President), Megan (Treasurer), Isaiah (Welfare Officer) and Loz (Social Media Officer). We all met through the society and even ended up going to the Eras Tour together, so it’s amazing to now be able to run it together! From the moment I joined last year, I loved how easy it was to meet other people and make friends.

WHY JOIN OUR SOCIETY?

By joining our society you will find other members who are also huge Swifties, really friendly and open to talk! In three words our society is passionate, welcoming and inclusive. Our aims as a society are to give people a space to meet others with similar interests to them and be able to form friendships through our events. The society truly feels like one giant friend group and it’s been amazing to bond with people and make lifelong friendships through Taylor Swift.

The Taylor Swift Society can help students make the most of their time at University by giving them fun events to take their minds off deadlines – we just hosted a Taylor Swift themed Murder Mystery night that was really fun and a great success! It also gives people an opportunity to meet others and make friends outside of their course or flat. Check out our Instgram, where we post announcements and pictures from all of our events!
