Each year we see loooads of unofficial Freshers events being advertised. We want to give you the heads up that these are not always legal, safe, exclusively for students or even real.
We don't want your new university experience to be affected, so here's how to check if an event is part of The Offical Freshers Fortnight at Essex SU.

Does it refer to 'The Official' Freshers? If it is any abbreviation of this, it's an unoffical event

Is it offering a pass or wristband? We don't do this, so it's an unofficial event

Are the events hosted off-campus or far away? If yes, it's an unofficial event

Is the event hosted by Essex SU? If no, it's an unofficial event

Does the event include any of the below logos? If no, it's an unoffical event
