This Autumn, Essex Startups is launching the first-ever Essex Apprentice event.

What is it?

• A unique competition
• Put your skills to the test
• Wa share of £500
• Become The Essex Apprentice

How does it work?

• 4 weeks
• 2 teams
• Challenge 1 - Work together to develop a product or service - design the brand and promotional material to create a revenue model
• Challenge 2 - In 2 hours, promote the product or service on campus and gather as many sales or sign-ups as possibl

But this isn’t just any challenge—teams must align their ideas with the UN’s sustainability goals, focusing on one of the following areas that impact students:

• Mental Health
• Managing Finances
• Access to Healthy Food
• Wellbeing and Exercise
• Tackling Loneliness

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and entrepreneurship, while working on real-world problems that matter.
