The East African Society aims to raise awareness about the region's rich cultural diversity and history that is seldom represented accurately. We plan to do this through exploring various art mediums such as dance, film, music & visual art, but also through engaging audiences in discussions regarding current affairs.
If you're looking for a diversely cultured community, look no further! We will provide you with a culturally enriching experience, a platform to network through collaborating with other societies, as well as educating people on issues surrounding East Africa and opportunities to develop yourselves as individuals. As the only regional society, we still aim to be inclusive of all, in the hope of embracing those who embrace East Africa!
We look forward to meeting you this academic year.
