Welcome to Essex Blades Baseball Club! We are a proud competitor in the BUCS South East Division, renowned for our strong Blades performance and competitive Essex spirit. We attract members from all skill levels and we are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every player can thrive. We are dedicated to guide and support all players as we play throughout the year. Every year, we participate in thrilling games including the two-days national baseball finals in spring and derby day, the biggest sports festival of the University of Essex, against the UEA. Our ambitious goals include maintaining our position as the league top-10 and make an aggressive progress to win the national championship.
In extension to our support towards the members, we lend complementary wears and gears, which includes a jersey, helmets, bats and gloves. If you are committed to baseball, we strongly recommend buying your own wears and gears to improve your performance and find comfort. Obviously, if you have your own wears or gears, you are more than welcome to use it.

GET STARTED
To be a part of the club, you need to join up as a member. The different club membership options are listed below with a description of what each membership covers. By purchasing a membership you are agreeing to the club's code of conduct. Please note that your membership information will be used in conjunction with Essex Sport (University of Essex) purely for the purpose of providing access to required facilities and data analysis. Your data will not be shared with anyone else or used for marketing purposes. Memberships are uploaded to the Essex Sport system manually and so it may take up to 5 working days before you are able to book onto your session via the Essex Sport app and attend training sessions.
