Hi! I’m Lily-May, your SU President for the next year! 💛
 
🗳️I am so grateful to have been elected and chosen by you to represent your voice and needs to the University!
 
🏠I grew up in South East London and joined 
Essex in 2020 after a gap year interrupted by pandemic! I recently graduated with a degree in Politics and International Relations! 👩🏼‍🎓
 
🇮🇹 🍝 During my time at Essex I studied in Rome for one year and have been dreaming of moving back ever since! In fact, I am still learning Italian and go back to visit very often.
 
📱 I also was a Communications Frontrunner for Essex Abroad creating content for their social media page targeted at outgoing students! 📱
 
💼 SU wise I have been a Student Trustee for three years so have worked with three leadership teams (Samira, Nashwa, and Kieran).
 
⭐️ I hosted Essex’s Got Talent with Joe Holmes, your VP Education, who beat me by a landslide in the lip sync competition 🙄
 
🎸and I was also a member of the Music Society and loved going to the Hex Nights! Otherwise you’ll find me at Milk it, FED, or any Reggaeton night.
