BUCS

BUCS stands for British Universities & Colleges Sport and is the national governing body for higher education sport in the UK – in short, it’s the most competitive league at University level with 50 sports, 170+ institutions, a huge number of leagues, cups and national championships involved. Compete as a team or individual and you’ll earn BUCs points for Essex.

WEEKLY BUCS LEAGUES & CUPS

We currently have 58 teams competing weekly. Fixtures take place on a Wednesday, except for American Football, Baseball, Futsal and Waterpolo which take place on weekends.

Depending on the BUCS Tier, each team will also compete in a Cup. This year, 5 of our BUCS teams made it to their Cup final, and 14 won their League.
